Today (05.02.2017)’s activity was led by our brother Fahrul. The theme was “Lost in the Sea”.

Sister Dila as co-facilitator, started our HUT today by asking our experience of getting lost. It was very interesting stories shared by every members.
Brother Fahrul got lost when he and his friends tried to climb a hill. They started their journey in the middle of night by “angkot”. But, unfortunately, the driver didn’t know the road and abandoned them in the middle of no where. Well, it was not just that! They again got lost and suddenly realized that they were in front of a grave yard.
Well, lucky that finally they found the real path to the hill. But they didn’t make it on time.
Sister Fadila told us her story when she and her sister got lost in Bandung. Pasar baru was easy to find, but to find her way to home was the problem.
Sister Marina was a brave elementary school student. It was her first day to school and she tried to get home alone. It was only 15 minutes walk from her school to home, but she got lost. She spent 1 hour to arrive at home.
Brother Hendra was trying very hard to find his supervisor’s house, but he got lost!
Well, we do have many experiences getting lost, don’t we!?
Now, let’s continue to our main activity!
Brother Fahrul gave us list of items:
A sextant
A shaving mirror
Mosquito net
25 liters of water
A case of army ration for 3 days
Maps of Arafuru Ocean
10 liters of oil mix with petrol
A small transistor radio
20 square feet of opaque plastic
A can of shark repellent
A bottle of alcohol (90%)
15 feet of nylon rope
2 boxes of Silverqueen consist of 5 bars each
Fishing kit and fishing pole
A pack of match (limited)
Flashlight
A spade
A magnifier
A knife
A buble gum
Our activity today was to arrange those items from the very important one to the very less important. But, brother Fahrul gave us condition.
“There are 3 people who get lost in an island, an isolated island, where no one live there. If you were one of those people, which items do you need to survive in the island while waiting for help? *every items must be used and arrange the items from the very important one to the very less important one”.
It was interesting activity!
Sister Marina and sister Dila planed to stay at the island while waiting and trying to get help. Brother Agus and brother Hendra also did the same, while sister Tika tried to escape from the island alone by herself.
Well, the excitement didn’t stop there!
Brother Fahrul prepared gifts for the winners! Yup! Sister Marina and Brother Hendra as the winner got books (Sakinah Bersamamu by Asmanadia, and Nikmaynya Pacaran setelah Menikah by Salim A. Fillah). Congratulation Sister Marina and Brother Hendar!
