How We, define habits?

Habits is everything that we do automatically, we often do that without thinking. An activity or more that we do repeatedly and they becomes part of us – Human. (Ustadz Felix Siauw)

How to make it rock solid?

1. LEARN

First we need to figure out, what kind of habits that we need the most

2. COMMIT

I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: "Actions are (judged) by motives (niyyah), so each man will have what he intended. [Bukhari)

3. PRACTICE

The acts most pleasing to Allah are those which are done continuously, even if they are small. (Muslim 738)

4. REPETITION

And thus We sent down the Quran in Arabic, and We have explained it repeatedly, described a part of the threat, so that they fear or it would cause them remembrance

( Thoha 113).

The Most Frustrating Thing

….about building habit and about self development in general is the idea that inspiration doesn’t always correlate to the change. It doesn’t matter how inspired you are it doesn’t mean you are going to do something about it

Be Honest

1. Make a list of your daily habits

In this first part, write down our habits as many as possible. Whether it’s a good or a bad one.

2. Ask Ourself

Is is this a good habit, bad habit or a neutral habits.

3. Classify it

Mark it, if it’s a good habit mark + next to it, if it’s a bad habit mark it with – and if it’s neutral mark it with.

LET’S HACK YOURS

According to Atomic Habits by James Clear

1. Make it Obvious

Write down your habits, make it as specific as possible, stack it and design your environment.

2. Make It Attractive

Use temptation bundling, join supporting environment, and create motivation ritual

3. Make It Easy

Reduce friction, prime the environment, use two minutes rule, automate your habits

4. Make it Satisfying

Use Reinforcement, make doing nothing enjoyable, never miss twice.

5. Let’s Master Our Habit/ New Identity

Your outcomes are a lagging measure of your habits. Your networth are a lagging measure of your financial habits. Your weight are lagging measure of eating habits. You get what you repeat. #James Clear
