Celebration

Today's activity was started by Qur'an recitation (AL-Kahf) by brother Deba and continued by brother Agung as our co-facilitator.
As today's topic was related to celebration, brother Agung asked the members about celebration. Many things come to our mind when we hear about celebration, like birthday celebration, wedding party, Ied Adha, and many others. We also mentioned about our culture, Indonesia, on how we celebrate many things, like the term "mudik" that only happen in our country, and there are many kind of special crown that wore by women in their wedding party.
The activity was continued by sister Tika (as facilitator) by having a listening and speaking session.
At the beginning, we listened to an audio in which there are 5 people talk about celebration (Royal wedding, birthday party, golden wedding anniversary, end of term party at school and Notting Hill Carnival).
Wedding Organizer Planning
As one of MEC's brother (brother Oki) will have wedding celebration on next week, insyaAllah, so for today's HUT activity, we proposed a wedding planning for brother Oki.
Brother Agus, Agung and Indro proposed a wedding party at the beach at Komodo Island, at the sunset time. They plan to invite Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brighman to sing beautiful song for the couple. Maher Zain also invited to please the guests with his Barokallahulaka song.
Sister Haya and Desi imagined a party in Disney Land, Franch. The party is designed to be Syar'i party, where male and female guests have their own zone. There will be also tausiah from famous Uztands (Salim A.Fillah and Aa Gym)
Brother Odhi and Hariri have a unique idea. While other plannings take lot of money, this group have a "Green" concept wedding party, very cheap one :). The "akad" will be in KUA (free of charge) and the party will be "lesehan" at Taman Bunga Nusantara, Cianjur.
Dubai is the country chosen by Brother Mirza and Deba for the wedding party. They will invite "Dangdut Syar'i" singers to the party, and also Maher Zein. Indonesian food also will be served to please the guest.
While all groups were having their presentation, brother Fahrul gave each group score to pick the best one. There were 3 criteria, which are the presentation, the uniqueness, and the last one is how funny is the presentation is :p.
After all groups presented their proposal for the wedding party, finally brother Fahrul chose brother Mirza and Deba as the winner. Congratulation :)
