Everything in Life Has Its Own Theory

Mohed and Lilly are a couple living in rural village. They were born and raised in the stick in the mud environment. Their parent did not take them to school for proper formal education. Everything Mohed and Lilly do in their daily are all based on what their parent and the environment taught them.

Their marriage are also part of joining the traditions. They didn’t really have clear purpose on their marriage. Hence, once the traditional marriage done, they live their marriage live with not knowing any guidance or knowledge of how to live as a married couple. They often experience cross understanding on many thing that lead to a fight.

Time goes day by day each of them experience what was called as mental health problem due to tension that happen many times in their household. Elders and people on their surrounding often were giving them advice on how to reduce the tension between Mohed and Lilly, but all those advices are all based on old tradition. One neighbor once told them on how to reduce the tension by sacrificing one of their cow and each of them should drink the blood of the sacrificed cow, because based on the tradition and what they believed, it is the way on how to reduce the tension between couple.

Mohed and lilly finally has their own baby to raise. And as expected that they don’t know how to do parenting in a good way. They don’t have what it takes as a parent who responsible on raising a kid with Love, care, and alertness. All they do on raising their baby are guessing, try and error and again ask the elders of the village. One day, the baby have fever, the baby is having high body temperature and is shivering until its lip turning greenish. Mohed and Lilly was panic. They intended to take a baby to doctor but on the way to the village public health center, they get stopped by the elders. The elders suggest to cover the baby’s head with mud and again the blood from sacrificed animal instead of brought the baby to the doctor. Several days goes by the baby is now in normal body temperature but as soon as they realize that the baby lost the ability of hearing.

In the process of raising the baby, Mohed and Lilly aren’t able to control their emotion. They scold the baby, they hit and slap the baby face even they tie up the baby with the rope when they think the baby is being too much active.

The baby grow become teenager and get the time to get married. The same stories repeat on the Mohed and Lilly’s generation.
