This is My Letter to You

This is my letter to you, my dear favorite celebrity!!

Who is your favorite celebrity? Have you ever written a letter to her/him?

Well, this afternoon, we wrote a letter to our inspired celebrity. Do you know how to write a good structured fan letter? Then, here it is:

First, let’s start with a greeting. You can start to write the letter with “Dear Mr/Mrs X”, or may be with informal greeting, such as “Hey/Hello Mr/Mrs X”. Then, introduce your self. The reader of your letter, who is a celebrity, should know you, your name, country where you are from and other basic details.

Next step is to write how you got to know this celebrity. From movies, radio or word of mouth. From this, you can continue to write about favorite things that you like from the celebrity, his/hes ability in acting, singing, playing football and other things about his/her. Then, describe something from your favorite celebrity that inspire your life. In this letter, you can also write questions that you are curious about. For example, “Who inspire you to be an actress?”.

As you write a letter, of course, you are hoping for a response. Write some hopes that you want her/him to response. But do not write a silly hopes :p. At the end of the letter, write your with for her/him for a better future career.

“From your biggest fan!” at the bottom of your letter and decorate it!.

Simple, isn’t it!

Brother Imon led our activity this afternoon to write a letter to our favorite celebrity. At first, he asked us to think a name of a celebrity that we adore so much. Some names appeared! Jacky Chan, Raihan, and even Kurt Cobain :p .

Then, we wrote our letter them. We asked some questions in our letter and mentioned some hope that we wanted them to respond.

Our activity didn’t stop right there. You know what’s next!? The celebrity did really come! :P

So, next activity we did was every member exchanged the letter with other member and she/he read the letter and become the celebrity (pretended he/she was the celebrity). You know what’s funny!? That was when the member answered the questions on letter and responded the for the hope.

It was a letter from sister Tika to Jacky Chan, asking him to show his Kungfu and to sing a Sundanese song. So lucky, bro Ade got that letter and he showed us his best Kungfu and “Es Lilin” song.

Brother Udin pretended to be Raihan member and sang “Bismillah” song with brother Ade and brother Sigit as backing vocal. It was so funny :p

Do you know Kurt Cobain? Well. He came to our club this afternoon. Sister Desi got that letter from brother Oki.

And many others letters.

It was fun this afternoon, thank’s to brother Imon.
